Here’s the skinny on this red dress. I wore this dress in high school (believe it or not), and re fell in love with it when I pulled it out of my closet randomly the morning of the bridal shower. I was planning on wearing my all time favorite Felicity and Coco navy dress (seen here). But I wanted something a little bit more feminine, and a little bit more whimsical. When I pulled this out and tried it on…I was done. Since this dress is almost “vintage,” I have linked several similar dresses that are available for purchase today!
Basics should never be overrated. Especially when it comes to stripes. I’ve had a thing for stripes recently! I love wearing stripes with different prints, or patterns. I highly recommend giving it a try, it keeps things light and whimsical. Below are some other fun stripe shirt options I love…(click on the image for the link!).

I hope you all had a great weekend! Here’s an easy look I wore this weekend running about town doing errands that transitioned perfectly for a casual dinner out! It’s nice to be able to start the day wearing a practical outfit, and know you don’t need to change for multiple events throughout the day!
I finally found a fun, sequin top that is perfect for Date Night! This top can easily be paired with black jeans, blue jeans, skinny or flare, a short A-line skirt, or a maxi skirt. I also love how it’s neutral but still a statement piece. When I saw it at Nordstrom, I instantly fell in love. Here are some other fun date night options which are all on sale!! Light Blue with Embellished collar, Black Lace, Bronze Sequin I hope you all have a great week!
Today I’m sharing a casual, colorful look that I wore earlier this week in Southern California. I’ve wanted to buy a pair of slip on sneakers for a while now, but couldn’t find a pair that was feminine enough, but also achieved the classic look I wanted. I originally saw these in black, but was forced to try them on in Magenta when they didn’t have my size. I quickly concluded that the magenta was way more “me”, and so much fun! The color is unexpected, and I was able to wear them in a way that was easy, comfortable, and not too over the top. If you’re searching for a pair of easy, comfortable sneakers, I would definitely recommend these! I hope you all have a fabulous first weekend of the New Year, and I will see you back here Monday!!

Today I’m sharing the perfect NYE party outfit! This is a fabulous NYE dress because it’s so bright and ‘in your face’ gold, which I absolutely love! My NYE motto is, “the brighter the better,” and this dress is definitely up to my standard! It is so Holiday, and fun, and can easily be worn with black tights, and black pumps (which you may already own!). What are your favorite outfits to wear for NYE?
