This recipe is a SUPER easy, and the pecans are literally the most satisfying thing you’ll ever have. In our house, these things don’t last long- and one batch makes 2 lbs! This is a family recipe (Thanks, Renee!), and I am so glad she taught me how to make them!
Ok, here’s how to do it:
1 2lb bag pecans (I get mine at Costco)
1 cube butter
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Melt the butter, sugar, and vanilla on top of stove in a stainless bowl or med sauce pan if you prefer. Be careful, it melts and burns really quickly!
Stir in pecans, coat well and dump onto cookie sheet (with sides). Sprinkle with sea salt . Place cookie sheet on the second shelf with the oven set to broil. When brown, take out of the oven, and flip them. Do this 7 or 8 times. Each time get’s quicker and they will burn in a blink! Sprinkle more sea salt if desired. Let cool until you can’t stand waiting anymore, and enjoy!
